The CESDI COVID-19 AWARENESS, EDUCATION & SENSITZATION CAMPAIGN was inspired and launched as a result of the ongoing global pandemic of Covid-19 (Coronavirus).
We are at a critical point in the global response to Covid-19, there is need for everyone to get involved in this massive effort to keep the world safe.
CESDI has decided to put in its own contribution by creating awareness and educating people on preventive measures & identification of persons with symptoms. The rise in reported cases of the COVID-19 spread is alarming. We all have to stand together to see how we can put an end to it! We need to prepare and educate people! We have to prepare ahead to control spikes in number of people infected. It is important to stand-up together to see how we can reduce or stop the spread immediately.

I benefited from the CESDI’s awareness campaign on Covid-19. Before the sensitization I was made to believe by popular rumour that drinking boiled neem leaves can prevent the virus so I was fond of drinking neem boiled leaves as a preventive measure for Covid-19. I shared the boiled neem leaves with my neighbours. But after the sensitization session I learnt that boiled neem leaves cannot cure or prevent the virus but instead frequent washing of hands, avoiding touching of face, social distancing, staying at home etc. were among the preventive measures that could save one from the virus.
